Cooking with Weed

Eliminating the carcinogenic effects cooking with marijuana can be better for your body than smoking it, and some people claim that the high lasts much longer. One of the most popular ways to use marijuana in cooking is to saute the buds in butter then using the marijuana butter to cook with. The standard amount of marijuana used is 1/8 of an ounce to one stick of butter. Be careful not to burn or overcook the marijuana or you may lose some of the THC that causes the effect.

Benefits of Cooking with Weed:

Eating weed produces a different high than smoking it. Some people describe it as "deeper" or as having more of a body sensation.

Eating weed eliminates the odour on your breath, your clothes, and in your environment.

If your throat is feeling scratchy you may prefer eating to smoking weed to get high, it is also much healthier than smoking.

This may suprise you, but some people don't like the taste of weed when smoked. Putting weed in sweet foods can help to mask the taste while still gettting you stoned.

*WARNING*  When eating pot in food it usually takes 40-60 minutes to fully realize the effects, but be careful, if you eat too much you may end up lying on the couch for the rest of the day!
